Project - Fluffee Salon, Adelaide

this small single owner salon in suburban Adelaide commissioned a utilitarian splash back for their wet area, an extension of existing shelving and a retrofitted new reception desk. The reception desk had to adapt to a unique building shape, and incorporate an existing timber shelving system the client wanted to retain.

With an emphasis on functionality, this two-tiered custom desk needed to meet the rigorous and specific demands of the clients need. Specific cable management and integrated bracketry for tons of tech.
A bold, linear, strong form with elegant proportions evolved. The frame like legs providing needed negative space to an otherwise monolithic profile. Coupled with the and varied tones of Australian hardwood the final desk is truely a statement piece.

Brace Shelving
Utilising a cast brass fixing, the three unit Brace shelving unit was developed in house at the Jam Factory for a Jon Goulder led commission for Woods Bagot Perth.
